Below is our pricing structure for all the services which we provide.

All prices include waste disposal and maintenance grease/spray where needed.

We are not VAT registered so NO VAT will be added to these prices.


CAR SERVICING

Garage Service Only

Our hourly labour rate is £35/hour.
 

Basic Service

Our basic service consists of:

Changing the oil and filter, check and adjust tyre pressures and checking and topping up the fluid levels where necessary and a safety check.

Cost of this service is from £45 labour, plus parts. Parts cost will vary according to whether you require original or pattern parts.


Intermediate Service

Our Intermediate service consists of:

The basic service plus includes a full car check over including removing the wheels and checking the brakes.


Cost of this service is from £55 labour, plus parts. Parts cost will vary according to whether you require original or pattern parts.


Full Service

Our full service consists of:

The basic and intermediate service plus includes changing the air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter and spark plugs.


Cost of this service is from £65 labour, plus parts. Parts cost will vary according to whether you require original or pattern parts.

We also provide a service where we will book your vehicle in for an MOT and wait there until it is complete. MOT's generally take around 45 minutes. Our charge for this service is £35, which includes the journey to and from the MOT station and the 45 minute wait. If the vehicle fails and needs to go back then the charge will be an extra £15.

We carry out other work including, clutch and gearbox replacement, head gaskets, engine replacement/repair and many other jobs. Please call for a quote on any other work required.


Diagnostic Scan

The cost of the initial scan is £25 up to the first 20 minutes. If more advanced tests are required then the test is charged at £10 every fifteen minutes thereafter, however we normally find any issues within the first 20 minutes.

We are less than half the cost of a main dealer who can charge anywhere up to £60 for a similar test.


 

AIR CONDITIONING

Diagnostic Test

From £45.00 (within the immediate Reading Calcot Red Zone (see map below)

If the diagnostic test passes and the air conditioning system is without fault and has no leaks only then will the correct amount of gas and compressor oil be added. The gas quantity varies from vehicle to vehicle and the cost will be discussed before an appointment is made.

Diagnostic Scan Test

Some vehicles may require a diagnostic scan with a digital scanner to read certain values of the electronic components. This will be at an additional cost. The cost of the initial scan is £15 up to the first 20 minutes. If more advanced tests are required then the test is charged at £10 every fifteen minutes thereafter, however we normally find any issues within the first 20 minutes. We are a fraction of the cost of a main dealer who can charge anywhere up to £60 for a similar test.

Bacteria and Bad Odour Treatment

The cost of this service is £15.00 for a standard treatment when a full air conditioning service is done or £25.00 for a deluxe treatment (COVID19) otherwise from £55 for a standard treatment or £65 for the deluxe treatment on its own (within the immediate Reading Calcot Red Zone (see map below)

Ideally the pollen filter which is at times located behind the glove box should be replaced. If you require this service the cost will be from £10 labour plus the cost of the part if the glove box requires to be removed, otherwise if the pollen filter is very easy to access then it would be included in the air conditioning service plus the cost of the pollen filter.
